Full day excursion to Volubilis from Fes highlights:

This day trip begins by crossing a fertile agricultural region: culture of cereals, pulses, oil production … Arrival at Zagota Pass, and the road enters the forest of eucalyptus plantations of olive, fig. We soon discovered a vast plain where the ruins of Volubilis. After spending an hour to admire the ruins of this Roman city of the first century AD, the trip continues towards the holy city of Moulay Idriss.
